Remembered by Dust Chapter 5: The Tower

Last week, Dust watched faith take the shape of a knife. A father lifted it, a child trusted him, and both learned devotion can be overpriced.
This week, we move from altars to architecture. The story climbs a tower, built from ambition, compliance, and the need to belong. For the first time, Dust begins to take shape. They're no longer just observing the world; they're in it—learning what it means to have a body, to follow orders, to forget they're made of stardust.

Thank you for reading "The Tower." Next week, Dust and I leave the ruins behind and follow the water. The flood is coming.
Up next: "Broken Levees."
