Remembered by Dust Chapter 2 — The Knowing

Last week, we began at the beginning — the first breath, the pulse that rippled through everything. This week, we step into awareness — that moment when the pulse recognizes itself.
Across traditions, knowing is both gift and grief: a spark that separates light from shadow, self from everything else. In this chapter, I explore that first rupture — the shift from pure being to consciousness — through the story of Eve, whose curiosity cracked the waveform.
Here, knowledge is evolution, not sin. It’s the ache that comes with awakening — the price of seeing, of being seen, of saying I am this and I am not that.
Dust, as always, has their own take — a testimony from beyond the door we all eventually open.

Thank you for walking with me through The Knowing. This chapter always leaves me quiet — thinking about how awareness both heals and hurts, how every moment of clarity costs us a little comfort. I've always had a lot of empathy for Eve. Curious, she just turned on the light.
Next week, Dust and I follow that light out of the garden and into the wide, wild world — where choice, consequence, and courage begin to take shape.
Until then, may your own knowing be kind.
